There are many causes. The most common include aging and consumption of staining substances such as coffee, tea, or tobacco. During tooth formation, consumption of tetracycline, certain antibiotics, or excessive fluoride may also cause tooth discoloration.

Zoom! WhiteSpeed In-Office Professional Whitening

Zoom is a bleaching process that lightens the discoloration of enamel and dentin using light accelerated technology and whitening gel. The whitening gel’s active ingredient is Hydrogen Peroxide. As Hydrogen Peroxide is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel and dentin, bleaching any colored substance while keeping the structure of the tooth unchanged. Treatment takes just over one hour.The procedure begins with a preparation period followed by 60 minutes of bleaching. During the procedure, patients can actually nap or listen to music. Some people experience temporary increased tooth sensitivity to cold during treatment. These symptoms disappear within 1-3 days after interruption or completion of the treatment.

Take-Home Custom Whitening

Our take-home custom whitening includes 2 syringes of Opalescence Whitening gel and custom whitening trays. Unlike generic whitening trays, custom trays are created from your unique mouth scan! Custom trays ensure whitening gel covers all surfaces of your teeth. Opalescence Whitening gel contains potassium nitrate and fluoride, for patient comfort, and is available in five concentrations for maximum treatment flexibility. Based on your sensitivity, we can recommend which gel is right for you! We recommend starting with shorter wear times as you get comfortable with the whitening treatment. Wear times can be as short as 15 minutes per day, or as long as overnight.

Opalescence Go Pre-filled Trays

Opalescence Go is to-go whitening ready to use right out of the box. Complete with 10 pre-filled whitening trays with your choice of 10% or 15% hydrogen peroxide gel. Teeth whitening gel contains potassium nitrate and fluoride for patient comfort.

In-Office Professional Whitening and Take-Home Professional Whitening Appointments are self-schedule and self-check-in. Opalescence Go! is available for pick-up during our office hours. For easy scheduling bar appointments can be scheduled through our online scheduler under “Whitening Bar”.  When scheduling please note which whitening treatment you would like. You may also call our office to schedule your whitening appointment.
